My Story

Proverbs and Pastimes grew from my quiet walk with Christ, where Scripture, simmering pots, garden soil, and simple photographs became daily reminders to glorify God in every ordinary moment.

As a wife and mother to three boys, life is wonderfully busy. From school events and weekly meal planning to all the ordinary moments in between, there is always something to do. Yet, in the middle of it all, I want my boys to know that God is there—not just in the big moments, but in the smallest details of our everyday lives. Because when we learn to recognize our Father in the ordinary, we will never fail to see Him when life brings the extraordinary.
